Shown here is the DDS Navigator with the Submissions category expanded.
The DDS Navigator provides you with quick access to all of the DDS functions. The navigator is an explorer-type menu that groups functions by the nature of the communication with the EUB (applications, incidents, notifications, etc.) and then according to the type of information being considered.
Quick use guide:
To find to a specific function, expand the appropriate EUB communication category, and then expand the appropriate information type. Click on the menu function to see the associated screen.
To return to the opening screen, click on the Digital Data Submission Home menu item.
Navigator Choices...
The DDS Navigator offers the following choices grouped according to category. Detailed documentation is available for many of the DDS functions. Follow the links where available.
- Applications
- An electronic request submitted for consideration and requiring approval by the EUB.
- Facilities/Resources/Utilities Application
- Issuance of Dispositions (Approvals/Denials/Closures) for Facilities, Resources and Utilities Applications.
- Licence Transfer
- Transfer of Licence holder or ownership.
- Non-Routine Well Licence Abandonment
- Abandonment of a Non-Routine Well Licence.
- Incidents
- An event that has the potential to have public safety and/or environmental impacts.
- Casing Failure
- Reporting an incident concerning Casing Failure.
- Surface Casing Vent Flow/Gas Migration
- Reporting an incident concerning Surface Casing Vent Flow or Gas Migration.
- Notifications
- An ad hoc informational notice.
- Field Surveillance
- Notifications concerning field surveillance or inspections.
- Licence
- Notifications concerning Licences.
- Reports
- Information available to Digital Data Submission subscribers.
- Enforcement
- Reports concerning enforcement.
- Inspection
- Reports concerning inspections.

- Submission History
- A searchable log of previous submissions; selectable by ID, date, reference, or type.

- A mandatory report, which has time-dependent submission requirements, which will be reviewed by the EUB.

- DDS Administration
- The Administrative area allows for two primary functions:
- System Users may administer their own profile (e.g. contact information, password, secret question/answer combination) and get a listing of company contacts/administrators.
- System Administrators may add new users and administrators, edit existing users, and search all the users that they administer based on the selected criteria.
