Multiwell pads

To enter wells for a multiwell pad

1. Type well details directly in the fields. Once the first entry is made, the Add Next Well becomes active so that you can add additional wells.

2. To change information for an existing well, click View to the left of the well to change (a pencil () appears and change the information based on the following:

Surface casing meets the requirements of Directive 008, Section 7.10.9.
Required

Select Yes means the proposed surface casing meets the requirements of Directive 008.

Select No if the surface casing does not meet the requirements. You must attach:

Required Attachment	Description	Type
Surface Casing Exemption Request	A discussion that includes an area search for AOF data, geology, thermal schemes and operations, or a copy of an approval granted by AER Operations	.doc, .jpg, .pdf
Surface Casing Map	A map of wells within a 3 km radius to accompany the surface casing exemption request	.jpg, .pdf

Select N/A to show that Directive 008 requirements do not apply, for example, if the well licence application is to re-enter an existing wellbore.

For Category E wells, you must attach:

A directional survey will be run if the well deviates from vertical
Required

Select Yes to show that a directional survey will be run if the well deviates from vertical.

Select No to show that a directional survey will not be run. You must attach:

3. Click Save to add the well to the main list. Repeat to enter additional wells.
