How to enter search criteria

Enter a combination of search conditions to locate specific applications.

The following rules apply:

Unless otherwise selected Active, Closed, and Issued applications are displayed.
If you enter Application, Regulatory Approval, or Decision Report numbers, you must enter the entire number.
You must enter one of the following:
  • Application Number
  • Regulatory Approval or Decision Report Number
  • Northwest Location (LSD and Section optional)
  • Registration Date Range
  • Disposition Date Range
Date range searches have a maximum length of 5 days, except in the following instances:
  • If you enter a Company Code (BA ID), you can enter a Registration Date Range to a maximum of 1 year.   
  • If you select Resources as the group and also select an Application Type, you can enter a Registration Date Range to a maximum of 6 months.
You can enter partial information with which to search in the Electric Facility Number, Person/Previous Co. Name, Field, Pool, Area, and Deposit criteria fields.
If you search using a drop-down list, enter the first character(s) to show only those items that start with the letter(s). Click the character again to show the next item in the list.
If you search by application registration or disposition date range, the To Date must be after the From Date. Use the same From Date and To Date to search for applications for a specific day.
If you enter only a From Date, you are searching for applications registered on and after that date. The From Date can't be in the future.
If you enter only a To Date, you are searching for applications registered before and on that date.
Location rules:  
  • If LSD is entered, you must also enter Section, Township, Range, and Meridian.
  • If Section is entered, you must also enter Township, Range, and Meridian.
  • If Township is entered, you must also enter Range and Meridian.
You can enter a Northwest Location only, or define an area by entering both Northwest and Southeast Locations. You can only use a Southeast Location if a Northwest Location has already been entered.
